    My first iPod totally changed my life!! Congratulations on your new addition - may you two be happy for a long time.

    And as a former Apple sales person and someone who has had an iPod break before, I TOTALLY recommend the $50 additional year of warranty. It is WORTH IT if your $400 bestest digital buddy gets sick!
