...I wish me a Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year

I am ready. All I have to do is open my heart.

Easier said than done.

opening your heart...now THERE'S a loaded proposition.

What shall I open my heart to? It's easy to open my heart to my sister bloggettes because I already heart them and wish them the best of everything. But what about those people I don't quite agree with? hmmmm.....that's quite a heart opening if you ask me...but you didn't ask me, so why am I rambling about it?

I guess that's why I volunteer on Christmas day. dang if I don't complain about having to get up at 6 a.m. on my day off, but at least I can wake up in a the warmth apartment of my choice and not be concerned about anything except getting a shower in time and being there in time to make 10 gallons of gravy ;-) The people who show up, they need someone with an open heart and an open mind....

diatribe over.

I hope your heart opens up to whatever you want it opened up to. I totally heart you, MW, because you're just so cool, and your new profile photo with both halo and horns just rocks!

Oh no. Now Madonna's dancing about in my head.

I hold the lock and you hold the key, baby.

Merry Christmas!

awww sweetie, I wish you a merry Christmas too! I am having such a struggle with it this year, and my kids look at me like "what is wrong with you?" or the less subtle "not again, dad!" in the meantime the grind of work continues and the mice in the walls won't let me sleep. 3:00 am and no where to buy Decon, drat!
Bless you as you seek to make sense of a mixed up, screwed up world. Sending lots of love to fill your stocking, hung by the chimney with care.

Lil Sis, you crack me up. I totally heart you too. And that's totally totally awesome of you to volunteer on Christmas day. (Can I sound any more like a valley girl? Like, totally!)We need more people like you in this world.

Mrtl: I was drinking some water when I read your comment and snot came out of my nose, as I was trying to hold in my laughter and not spit out my drink. I TOTALLY had that song in my head when I was posting this post.

David: Sending lots and lots of love your way too! (But not to your mice, blah!)
