Viva Mexico!!!

Yeah, yeah...I haven't updated my blog in like 20 years. Get off my back already. Home girl has been very busy working, playing, and trying to squeeze in some sleep here and there, which has proven to be VERY difficult. Not that I don't have problems falling asleep. Sleeping is my favorite hobby, only second to Guy #6. But between work and hobby #1, sleeping has become non-existant in my life. And for anyone who knows me in real life, they know that lack of sleep makes me very very grumpy.

Here's an example of my grumpiness:

Supervisor at work: "Good morning, Merry Widow. How are you today?"
Me: "I AM SLEEPY AND I'M GRUMPY. I hope you don't expect me to cure cancer today."
Supervisor at work (looking scared because I'm usually pretty cheery): "Um, is everything ok?"
Me: "If by 'ok' you mean that I am tired and grumpy, then yes. Everything is ok."

And no, I didn't get fired. But I did take a nap during one of my meetings.

ANYWHO, I'm leaving for Mexico City tomorrow to help my abuelito (that means grandpa, for all you gringos out there) celebrate his 80th birthday. We're gonna get our fiesta on, full Mexican style. You know, like with tortillas and stuff. So I'll be chillin in beaner town for 10 days and when I get back, I have exactly 4 days to pull TWO whole power point presentations out of my big J-Lo butt so that I can impress the big wigs at work. Good times.

So until then, I leave you with a few topics to discuss amongst yourselves:

1.) Ways to make me not be obsessed with Guy #6.
2.) Reasons as to why I should visit Guy #3 in Ft. Worth for his birthday, even though he never bought me a birthday present like he said he would.
3.) Nick Lachey & Jessica Simpson: Are they breaking up?
4.) Global Warming

I also leave you with some possible future blog topics that I may or may not post:
1.) Why I should not drink anymore.
2.) Why are guys scumbags??? (No, not Guy #6...I had a VERY scarey experience with some jerk wads that decided to try to assault me at the bar last weekend.)
3.) Getting motivated to go back to school.
4.) My crazy (but in a good way) family.
5.) The joys of being beaner.

Peace out, blogland. I'll be back before you can say "yo quiero taco bell."

We need to get together when you get back into town. Chris, Carmilla, and I were out shopping the other night and picked something up that you just *had* to have. You'll get it when you get home!

Have a GREAT trip and happiest of days to your grandpa!

Yo quiero Merry Widow.

Jessica is a man. Eventually Nick would find this out.

Continue the obsession on G #6, its great reading material!
I agree with above comment, Jessica is totally a man, and Nick is on to her.
Hope you had fun in the MC! =)

hey all - while MW is away in Mexico I have permission to steal away all her readers - for ten days only, I will endeavor to be entertaining, I even learned a new texas word to help with the transition: "fiddlefarting"
Let me hear you all use that in a sentence. bye

MW, you KNOW why you shouldn't obsess over Guy #6. I won't say it here. You KNOW. And since I'm a member of the vagina clan, I say BE A WOMAN. BE A BEANER. JUST SAY NO. Or something.

Also, Nick and jessica? Totally broken up. And you shouldn't drink because I can't drink.

Have fun on your trip.
I agree with Pissy...Nick & Jessica are breaking up.

Jessica could be a man but, I think it is way more likely that Nick is a woman!

I'm upset that so many people are glamming onto the Nick-Jessica conversation stimulator instead of the "reasons to visit Guy#3 in FW". In order to counter that, I'm giving you seven reasons.
1. It will help with Conversation Stimulator #1 because there will be tons of hot med students around. I think we even have a Mexican in our class! He could give you a ride on the old Bone-coaster, if you know what I mean.
2. I'll get you your freaking present. What do you want?
3. The Brachial Plexus
4. You are missed more by me than by anyone else ever.
5. Rachel.
6. GETTIN' CRUNK! (could help to contribute to future blog topic #1)
7. Taco Bueno.

Guy #3 is absolutely right. Taco Bueno is MORE than enough reason to make the trip to the silly Metroplex. yummmmmmmmmmmmburrrrrritos...

So, I'm not one to rub it in but I hope you saw the UT-CU game over there in Mexico-land. If not, perhaps upon returning to the States you could look up the score and be humiliated by your silly buffalo devotion.
